What is the point of offering s night-reading option if it freezes every time you try to use it? I regret ever purchasing books on this app.

Easy to open, good lighting options and color scheme. Doesnt have the scroll feature as does the apple books app.

The app went through a series of inquiries to find out my interesests, in addition to introducing me to a number of sample books that I downloaded. Result = The download gave me an error message for each of those books I spent time adding to my queue. I have about 20 new sample books that I cannot read. Google, I thought you were better than that.

this app is virtually useless i cannot search books, see similair books, purchased books. there is no button to purchase books. why update an app and make it less quality than the versions before? i guess ill be switching to ibooks

Love the kids books for my daughter but searching for books is not easy. Very easy to search online but in the app there is no option to search "5 and under". Please fix this and remover the "discover" function. Doesnt seem to work well.

Love the fact that you can upload your own ebook. Interface is nice too.

This app started out well and has just gone done hill. I downloaded a book for class that was expensive and planned on using the highlighting feature to sync my notes to google drive. Not only was the notes feature buggy (not highlighting, etc) but then I got an error that the notes cant be shown. And at this point, I can not export the notes, or see my old notes, because google customer service told me to delete the book and redownload... a huge problem considering I purchased this book for a class! Basically a huge waste of money for me to purchase the book and then not have it work properly for purpose intended. Definitely consider other options for your academic purchases. This app is not worth the time I have wasted trying to figure out how to get my notes.

Why is it so haaard Goog? Love the ability to upload books, but how is it possible Google offers no search for uploads? No tagging? Not even a way to group existing files or books?

App was great. But after the most recent update you cant define words while reading. I really enjoyed that feature.

Where is the book description? How do you get to the description. I would like to know what the book is about before downloading a sample. I give it 2 stars only because it doesnt give a description of the books.

Could be better. I had Andriod version. Keep up the good work.

If you are having issues since the latest update, try deleting and re-downloading the app. That seems to fix the app freezing issue.

Can you fix it? It is not opening.

I d/l from App Store. Was pretty intuitive. Loaded onto my three year old phone with little problems but never could install open on tablet. Keep getting error message timed out. After trying five times as well as cold reboot it was time to move on.. Now how do I get my money back from Google for what I paid for the book.

So because Im black apparently Google thinks I only read urban fiction. As matter of fact, Ive NEVER read an urban fiction novel. Im actually more of sci-fi girl. How could an app be more stereotypical and racist. Thanks for nothing !

I like the features, especially nightlight mode, but highlighting and making notes is buggy and slow, which is less than ideal for school. Get it together, Google.
