I was able to buy one book but I cant figure out how to buy more. I guess they dont want my money. Disappointing.

Really. No folders or tags. GARBAGE! Tip to the app developer, spend some time reading and responding to the many threads begging for folders or tags to organize their library and some way to support read aloud when screen is off. You dont even reply, qualifies for hate feedback at some point.. The oh keep working on the next emotional enhanced color tone and pix l tweet and NO FOLDERS. biggest mistake ever buys books on this horrible app with developers not listening and not respecting their users.

I probably should not have deleted and re entered the app but all my books were disappeared, gone, but still available on my phone, which is too small for reading, so be careful about Updating, I think the loss began there but not at all sure-- this app not worth the trouble except for hard to find digital books, for that it could be a service, some of the scans from public domain. Google has scanned so many books, it should offer a much much better app to present this material.

Crashes on opening. Useless. Very frustrating since I have a lot of books on my google books account.

I love this app! The new logo looks fantastic. I wish books were a little cheaper.

4/27/16: A year and a half later and this app is still terrible, possibly even worse than Overdrive, and thats bad. Cant download books easily, they keep disappearing, prices are high -- nothing good about this app. Only use it when the book I need isnt available otherwise. This is just venting since the app developers obviously cant be bothered to read the myriad of complaints. 12/14/14: still 1*, still buggy as all get out, STILL having to redownload my books. Google - wont be buying any more of your books till you fix this. Have had & tried to use this app for a couple of years and it still stinks. Biggest headache is the endless redownloading of purchased books. Too bad because Plays library is amazing. FYI many if not all Play books will work on Bluefire or a PDF reader like Goodreader.
