I have loved this app and got me back into reading

I prefer Play Books over Kindle because of epub support. While the app works it has a few shortcomings. Highlighting is just doesnt work well and theres no way to organize your library of books. A simple tags or folders feature would make this app 10x more useful than the recent AI recommendation feature that was recently launched.

I have a Nexus 7 tablet that I mainly use for reading. The transition from the tablet to my phone when in the middle of a book is seamless!

All as expected

I used to use this to listen to books while I drove.. That functionality is gone. Nothing special here.

Deleted the app and reinstalled it — still wont open. I find it mildly important for apps to...open up to use them.

Updated Updated Review: The latest update has rendered this app all but unusable. The highlighting and note-taking functionality seems to have returned, but now the app crashes halfway through the download when downloading a larger file. Uninstalling and reinstalling the app does nothing to correct the issue. I seem to be stuck with over two hundred purchased books that I am unable to read with this app. Perhaps I should ask Google for a refund of the purchase price of these books…

Play books app keeps crashing.

This app generally works great with a couple really annoying issues on my iPhone. 1. Screen keeps dimming every couple minutes, very annoying 2. Zoom doesnt work when in landscape Fix these 2 issues and it will be a 5 star app

After the new update, the app crashes. I cant even read any of my purchased books. Im so upset.

My only issue is that it doesnt open straight into my library.

Play books syncs between all my devices, allows me to take notes, do quick lookups on words, and has settings to adjust brightness to make reading easy on my eyes. Its a great place to store my digital library. The only downside on iOS is that I cant purchase direct from my phone.

I never have a problem accessing my books.

Well if you could buy the books on this app that would be nice because i cant and i have a apple device do u think you can make it where you can buy the book on here after you have the free sample
