When used in the iPhone 5s is not possible to purchase the book directly from the app! ((I had to do it from the website, but the book never appeared in the annex (((

It works great, however, there are not that many text view features. As an example, in portrait mode on 6s plus majority of the page is left unused and you cannot change the text layout.

A very nice application, i read my books mostly in it. Comfortable, nice and pleasant.

The only book I ever purchased in google play fails to download. Refreshed it and restarting my phone multiple times. Is it possible that Google could be incompetent enough to not develop a proper app for the iPhone?

Works across devices, sync books, can upload my own files. It is great.

I keep all my JW Publications on it and sometimes its slow to open on my device but at the end of the slowness its worth it to have all my nots on my publications

I am a techno-disinterested grandmother. I love the play books app. And do not understand the criticisms Ive read. I use the nook, kindle, apple and google ereader apps. Play books is my fav. My advice? Dont sweat the small stuff, just enjoy.

I was looking for Peter Druckers semi autobiography and could not find it anywhere except here. Great. The highlighting feature needs a lot of work however. Also wish I could copy text as one can do with other e-reading applications. Ill be back.

I love play Books. I have used most platforms or then Windows and I have to say google play books is easier the apple. I love my Apple and most apple products, but google books is pretty awesome. Some more functionality like highlighting text and making notes would make this more awesome.

Ive used this app for 2 books so far. Im a fan of online books because as a student I want to save as much money as I can. The books here tend to be cheaper than kindle books and just as easy to use. Ive used both and theyre about the same. When I try to use play books on my laptop however, it crashes sometimes and says Im done with the book when Im really only halfway. But it works fine on my iPhone 6.

Cheapest prices with the best quality scans. Better than comixology.

Ive been using this app for at least a year & have had no problems at all. I read 3-4 books a month on my phone...no complaints here.

iOS read text to speech does not work for this App

I often turn to google play books for an up to date wide selection of my favorite books! Its quick and easy, and I can access the choices 24 hours a day! Most of the costs are Less than competing e book suppliers. Convinced Thomas Hill

Lots of other reviewers have said that the font size bug is fixed. Its really curious because mine still has this issue. No matter how much I increase or decrease the font size, no change ever happens. This only happens for some, but not all, of my books. Also your chrome app cannot change font type for certain books... I really love your sync feature and hope I can make this work. But theres so many bugs...

It has all the best features to read books. Few bugs yet to resolved specially when selecting text but hope it will solve this soon.

I like that there is a night reading settting as i do most of my reading at night. But i dont like the orange-gold color of the screen. It very obtrusive and irritating to the eyes.
