Since the update I can not read my books anymore. Before it wasn´t a pleasure considering other readers. But now it is unusable.

Kindle iPad app blows this out of the water.

I read a book, than update the application and now I cannot open that book. I removed the book and download it again, but it doesnt help. I reinstall the app, but it also doesnt fix the issue. I can see just loading wheel while try to open that book.

The book wont open. It is not the fault of my iPad, the book wont open on my HP laptop either. Thank goodness I can read my book on my mobile device or I would have wasted my money. I will not purchase any more Google books until I am convinced that they have fixed the bugs.

I love this app, but after the last update a couple days so, I cant read any book. It trys to load and just spins and spins and spins. I have deleted play books and re downloaded twice. Still wont work. Help!

As a former android user, I was pleased to know that I had no trouble switching over to apple. The app works seamlessly (and even better than it did before).

I just get a white screen with a spinning circle when I open a book. Used to be great and one day it just stopped working. Reinstalled app and redownloaded books but no luck getting it to work :(

App doesnt download.

It worked great but now it wouldnt load at all.

Im beyond sick and tired of having to re-download my books every time google sends even the smallest update. I have hundreds of books on this app and it takes hours to download all of them again. Its a ridiculous issue to have and they need to fix it. Also Im tired of buying a book just for them to delete it because they had a falling out with the publisher. Ive purchased the book, its mine. So stop deleting it!

Cant scroll like iBooks. I would change to 5 stars otherwise.

I love Play Books and I have been using it since before I switched to iDevices. But after the recent update, offline mode hasnt been working! I cant read when the wifi is off, it shows only the current page that I was at and the next is all null .. And the settings restart also, like the 3D page turns. Please fix!

This app is great and has a problem to fix. After I downloaded my books on the app and then read it offline, all the books are gone. Never happened before the latest updates. Please fix it! ?

Crashed with dropping of local library two times after last update.

Version 3.0.2 is ugly. What is with offline mode? My book shelf needs online and doesnt loading in subway. Dont save downloaded books and reset my styles for read from time to time. Fix it, please

Of all the available book readers available, this has to be the single most pathetic one on the App Store. But youre forced to use it because of google stupid DRM protected books. The latest version crashes constantly, deleting all your books in the process. Offline viewing no longer works!

I was using the app in iPad Pro until the new iOS upgrade, since then the pages wont fit correctly on the screen. In each page a few lines gets cut off. I have sent a few messages to the the customer service explaining the problem but havent gotten any response back. I have been waiting for an upgrade but unfortunately realized with the new upgrade they didnt address this problem, so for now it is a useless app.

I have been a loyal Apple/Mac user for 15 years, so its not easy for me to write this, but I have found that many Google Apps are surpassing their Apple counterparts. Such is the case with Google Books. The user experience with its beautiful and cool browsing and reading interfaces are, in my opinion, superior to iBooks. It has great reading/back lighting options and it just seems cleaner overall.
