App starts briefly then crashes.

I really enjoy using this app. Its great that it works on multiple platforms. I also like the vast library available and page turning animation.

Easy to use.

There were bugs but its getting better. A whole lot. I love the dictionary access right in the book highlights. Also great idea with Google Doc notes directly from the book. You may be on to something there. Keep going!

Ive had google play for the past six years. The nice thing is it remembered the books I bought when I switched from android to the iPhone. I love the page turning feature...its like you are turning a real page and not just jumping to the next screen. I have Kindle and iBooks...I always go back to Google Play. Its the best!

I really enjoy this app. Easy to use. I like the back lighting that changes with the day to make it easier on my eyes.

No way to browse or buy books Hard to use Limited customization I still have to use my PC for everything besides reading the books. This is why tablets cannot replace desktops.

We need free books.

It wouldnt have so many bad reviews of similar complaints if it was just misunderstood. For myself its fine though but I just have found better apps for reading. Namely audiobooks. Still fun though.

I have never had a problem with this app and the books are inexpensive to buy. This app has worked well for me.

I like this a actually read more often because its on my phone and easy to access on my tablet. I love the sales at are on the books also even though they can be hard to find but it worth it!!

Its an okay app, good for the basic function of reading google play books on the go. It would be good to be able to change the font size of text and highlight, though. The words are rather small while reading, even on my iPhone 6s Plus

functionally decent, but needs serious fine tuning. input detection is the worst offender, highlighting is like playing operation. almost as bad is the pdf processing, which compresses to the point that some files are too blurry to read. bringing up the rear is this apps ridiculous package size.

Fanboy alert: I am a lover of all things Google & Play Books is no exception. I read almost exclusively on my phone & this app makes reading very accessible. Easy note taking, definitions and google searches polish off a well-crafted app.

I downloaded the app to my iPhone and within minutes was able to download an obscure book I couldnt find anywhere else. It is simple to use and they have a large selection. A book lovers dream!

I have been using google books for awhile now never had any problems with it at all.I love the book store a lot to pick from at a good price.

Transferred from an android phone to and iPhone and it was a breeze! Would like to see more google/apple collaborations

There are great titles available and reading is easy across devices and platforms. Love how my bookmarks and notes are synced with my Google drive! Its unfortunate I cant buy book through the app...but I understand why at least. ?

I have been using Play Books for the last 3 years on my iPhone 5S and my Samsung Galaxy TabS 10.5" without any problems but when I try to use it on my Galaxy Tab 3 7" it will skip several pages at a time which is unfortunate. Havent had any other problems so I have to say for the most part I really like this app. I have bought many books from the Play store and also from Smashwords and enjoyed reading them with this app very much.
