I am fine with this app. The few books I have I can read through devices with no problem.

Ive never had a lick of trouble with Google Books.

If I didnt have such good past experiences, Id never use this app again. It is getting so buggy and I have to keep uninstalling and reinstalling.

I love reading my books in this app and how it organizes my books to where I can read them I like the different color highlights

App is busted AF. Downloads disappear every time I interact with the app. The introduction splash screen also pops up randomly even though I have been using the app regularly. Its a drag to re-download a book every time I open the app.

Its frustrating, cannot open the app anymore in the iPad.

Would be easier if I could purchase a book through the app and not just the sample version.

I dont like the app at all. The font is too small. It doesnt tell you how many pages in the chapter. It doesnt tell you how many minutes to read a chapter or the book. It doesnt hold to a candle to IBooks or Kindle reader. The app needs a lot of work

I love this app

It is 2016 and Google still can´t write a reading app, pages are skipped, cant adjust font size. Bad experience overall.

Needs more functionality, smoother interface

This app is great but it has it issues, no way to list your books so you can just see title and author. Keeps crashing at odd times when trying to remove downloaded books.

Book does not display pages beyond the first chapter (this is a full book, not a free sample). You just get the little spinning icon in the middle of a blank page, forever. In this state, sometimes you can still flip pages (all blank beyond 1st chapter) or tap to get page controls, and sometimes you cant, in which case the only remedy is to delete the app and reinstall.

I love this app, but after the last update a couple days so, I cant read any book. It trys to load and just spins and spins and spins. I have deleted play books and re downloaded twice. Still wont work. Help! UPDATE: Called support, they told me to do everything I already did. Even though there all numerous complaints on here since PlayBooks last update...they say it is an Apple problem. Looks like they dont care to resolve the problem with Apple users. Anyone have a suggestion of a replacement app for apple users?

Ive downloaded my books for the last time. Moving everything to Amazon at this point. Im deployed in a third world country with internet connectivity sparsely available and slower than molasses in winter. Books were the safe bet for entertainment and now Ive lost all of them again.

Sadly, I wont be reading a book on this flight because the recently updated app will not stay open. Kindly address the issue, iPhone 7+... Ty

All my downloaded books were gone all of a sudden. They were here one day and then gone the next. Lost the position where I was on the book. Unbelievable, only 17 people have rated this app. Is Google unpopular on iPad or iPad is loosing users?
